You would be hard pressed to find a more ideal place for a walking/hiking vaca­tion than Ire­land. It is as if the island was cre­ated for that sole purpose.

Sadly, most Amer­i­cans skip North­ern Ire­land when plan­ning a trip to the Old Sod. With so much to do and see in the south, it’s hard to find time in the itinerary.

One ques­tion that I am asked more than any other about Ire­land is whether Dublin is worth vis­it­ing. The answer is a resound­ing yes, but with so much else to see and do on the Old Sod, don’t let it take up too much of your vacation.
